Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.POSITION SUMMARYAs a Designer, you will be responsible for utilizing software and other design tools to support the factory engineering program. You will prepare conceptual 2D/3D drawings, designs and details for further project development. Maintaining an up-to-date archive of factory and equipment design is also a key function.***THIS POSITION IS EXCLUSIVELY BASED AT OUR CRETE FACILITY***Collaborate with Staff Engineers and Electrical/Controls Team to design schematics, process flow diagrams and equipment layouts.Interpret technical documents with Engineering assistance, and relay relevant information through drawings and detailed instructions to contractors.Investigate plant floor details to develop preliminary and conceptual drawings.Maintain and organize drawings and other key documentation for all buildings and equipment in AS-BUILT condition, utilizing AutoDesk Vault. Drawings may be locally produced, provided by corporate engineering, design firms or equipment vendors.Generate and pursue innovative solutions to engineering problems.RequirementsAssociate s Degree in Drafting, Engineering or related field2+ years of experience in process-related drafting and designORHigh School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in a process-related drafting and designProficiency in utilization of design software and programs (e.g., AutoCAD, Vault, Autodesk, SOLIDWORKS)OtherExperience in the food industry and packaging technologies is preferredDon t meet all the qualifications listed under other ? Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
