Community Coach PAMCO Care is seeking a full-time Community Coach in Harrison burg VA 22801 About the Company: PAMCO Care is a residential services company in Gainesville, Virginia that offers care for people with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and mental illness. PAMCO Care's services include group home residential services. Responsibilities: Support, encourage, motivate, respect, help, teach, assist, and train individuals with all needs required for self- actualization. Assist individuals with work and social activities, personal hygiene, personal care, meal preparation, money management, and behavioral needs. Assist individuals with ADLs according to their ISP and CSP, and support progress towards goals listed in ISP. Transport participant to and from a variety of community-based activities according to daily schedules. Complete proper documentation of data and incident reports of behavior plans and other assigned paperwork before the end of shift. Assist and support participant in participation with program planning and activities. Follow coordinated calendar of activities. Maintain a pleasant, stimulating, secure setting for participants. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Community Coaching: 1:1 support with person-centered community activity as outlined in their Individual Support Plan Transportation Community Engagement: Small group support with person-centered community activity as outlined in their Individual Support Plan Transportation Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and staff verbally and in writing. Meet the basic personnel requirements for Criminal History, CPS, DMV record checks, and HHS-OIG. Obtain an evaluation indicating the absence of TB in a communicable form. Must maintain current certification in CPR and First Aid Ability to interact with families in a positive, supportive, and professional manner. Availability to work various hours and shifts. Must have reliable/available transportation, maintain a valid/acceptable driving record/license and be able to produce proof of vehicle insurance. Maintain an active telephone number for required contacts about assignments. Position may require lifting, running, and kneeling, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
