Senior Staff AccountantDo you have an accounting degree?Are you looking for a new career??Company ProfileThe Staff Accountant position will help lead the finance and accounting departments by providing information about all company activities that will assist management, its shareholders, and other users in making educated economic decisions about the company's future.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including: Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plans Holiday Pay Teladoc (online care) Referral Bonus Incentive Weekly Pay 401k And More!Senior Staff Accountant Details: Temp-to-Hire position $30.00 /hour Full Time work available First Shift Ensures the activities of the corporate accounting department are accurate and timely for dissemination of financial management reports including internal and external monthly financial statements and annual review/audits and annual budgets. - Processes all activities of the accounts payable department Assists the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts applications, bank deposits, etc. - Processes the activities and maintenance of the general ledger to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all accounts, including the issuing of financial statements. Processes lien waivers for accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Administers and maintains employee benefit programs. Maintains training records in employee files and updates safety training company. Maintains and records employee testing and certifications. Processes and maintains miscellaneous payroll reporting.Senior Staff Accountant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Five years of hands-on accounting managerial experience - Experience in human resource management a plus Strong background in financial management. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word. Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
