Description:

The Director of International Sales is responsible for overseeing MSB's global sales efforts and leads the sales activities of the international sales department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.Leverages deep product knowledge to demonstrate solution selling techniques, uncover prospect and customer challenges and deliver valuable solutions.Work with importers to communicate with key decision-makers and build strong relationships with prospects and customers on an international basis.Reviews contracts with in-house legal team and negotiates with foreign organizations.Stays current with international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales.Manages all aspects of the international sales cycle providing direction and leadership in each sales engagement.Meets with assigned key clients, assists international sales representatives with maintaining relationships with their contacts and with assigned key accounts.Builds and maintains an accurate pipeline and timely sales forecasts. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.Works with VP, Sales to develop departmental budgets. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.Assists with setting pricing to ensure profitability.Represents Company at domestic and international trade shows -and meetings to promote product lines.Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManages subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of two (2) employees in the International Sales Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
