Custodial Worker (Custodial Services) Job Description: SUNY Broome Community College has an immediate opening for a full-time Custodial Worker (1st Shift) with working hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Custodial Workers are required to clean buildings, maintain grounds, perform custodial related tasks, and assist with occasional minor maintenance tasks on first shift.Requirements: Skill in the proper use of cleaning and maintenance of equipment, chemicals, disinfecting methods, waste handling, the use of grounds maintenance tools and equipment, and personal protective equipment required.This position is physically demanding with tasks that include lifting heavy objects, bending, climbing, reaching, repetitive motions, and related duties as required.
