Leading the sustainable charge with a fleet of electric vehicles, Tower EV is on the cutting edge of green transportation. Your role as a Shuttle Operator is crucial to the success of our organization. As a Shuttle Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating our shuttle vehicles to transport Tower EV employees and drivers between designated sites. Your primary focus will be on providing a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience for all riders. This is a temporary position for around six months and you could be considered for a permanent role at the end of the period. Job Title: Shuttle Operator Department: EV Operations Reports to: EV Operations Managers & EV Supervisors Pay Rate: $24hr Overtime: $36hr Mandatory Requirements: Passenger Endorsement Key Responsibilities: Shuttle Operators must be able to perform all of the essential functions listed below, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Key Responsibilities: Operate shuttle vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Transport passengers to and from designated locations on time. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service and address any passenger inquiries or concerns professionally. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members. Follow established routes and schedules, and adjust to changes as necessary. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must possess a Passenger Endorsement. Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar driving position is preferred. Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Compliance Abide by all company policies. Exercise caution and vigilance to avoid accidents and damages to company property. General Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Ability to read and understand various app interfaces and documents. Be open to feedback and coaching from supervisors and management to improve performance and service quality. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to changes in company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean workspace. Work Schedule Shuttle Operators are required to have flexible schedule availability to ensure hiring needs are met. Schedules may be adjusted anytime to meet the needs of the operations but the management will work with you to find a balanced and predictable schedule when possible. Communication Channels: The following are the official communication channels at Tower EV: Emails; a towermobility.com email will be assigned to you. Dialpad; for calling WhatsApp; for internal text messaging. Texting with drivers is discouraged unless there is an emergency. All official communication must happen in the channels mentioned above.
