Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forecasting professional to join and lead our dynamic team, specializing in Patient and demand Forecasting for inline and pipeline drugs within the Biopharma domain. This senior-level position requires strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and expertise in developing sophisticated forecasting models, and delivering high-quality consultative solutions to our pharmaceutical clients. In addition to leading forecasting initiatives, this role will be responsible for growing our Forecasting practice across existing and new clients, building capability development, and driving Axtria's continued success and expansion. Key Responsibilities: Act as a hands on Forecasting delivery leader, oversee the growth and strategic direction of the forecasting department, ensuring innovation, excellence, and provide best in class solutions to achieve exceptional client satisfaction. Lead and drive the development and implementation of patient and demand based forecasting models for inline and pipeline products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and collaborating closely to define forecasting requirements and provide recommendations. Continuously refine and enhance forecasting methodologies, incorporating best practices and emerging trends to improve forecast accuracy. Stay abreast of industry trends and share insights internally and externally to elevate the company's profile and expertise Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop solution methodologies, and integrate forecasting insights into broader business planning processes and strategic initiatives Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Forecasting and Decision Science practices, promoting the development of new solutions and methodologies to enhance Axtria's service offerings. Partner with senior management to define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Forecasting and Decision Science practices, driving growth and profitability. Oversee departmental growth initiatives, including talent acquisition, resource allocation, and business development efforts to expand Axtria's footprint in the Life Sciences industry. Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related fields with at least 10+ years of relevant work experience. Extensive experience in developing and managing patient and demand based forecasting models in various therapeutic areas for pharmaceutical clients (Oncology is highly preferred). Proven track record of strategic and delivery leadership, business development, team management and organizational growth. Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python), Excel, VBA, and programming languages for data processing and synthesis. Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry datasets such as IQVIA XPONENT, NPA, NSP, and claims data, with the ability to leverage data insights to drive business value. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to drive business results, shape strategic direction, and lead organizational change initiatives.
