Description:
Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to manage and verify our financial operations. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional attention to detail, superb organizational capabilities, and extensive knowledge of accounting principles. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant will be instrumental in maintaining precise financial records, preparing comprehensive reports, and providing strategic insights to support our business decisions. Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and regulations. Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial analysis. Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and procedures to improve efficiency and mitigate risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and provide financial insights. Participate in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors. Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred. Over 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
