Description:
Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor Responsibilities: * Manages direct reports * Responsible for employee orientation, training, and development * Participate in safety initiatives * Planning of production staff to ensure all facility and maintenance needs are met * Serve as point of contact for after hour alarm or security issues * Purchase and storing of maintenance materials for facility and machine upkeep * In charge of department budget * Partner with engineering team and leadership to modify equipment to meet safety demands. * Responsible for oversight of installation and repairs of complex electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, switches, relays, motors etc. * Install and fabricate new equipment * Implementation and design of preventative and auto maintenance systems * Inspections and audits of equipment and facilities * Partner with EHS * Ensures compliance of plant safety such as air quality, CAL OSHA, water quality etc. * Support removal of hazardous wasteRequirements: * 7 years minimum of related experience in a leadership role * Degree in engineering or related field preferred or combination of education and experience * Working knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, welding, fabrications, hydraulics, etcs * Maintenance software * Microsoft Suite
