Let your career thrive with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring for a Formulation Supervisor in Redondo Beach, CAAs a Formulation Supervisor you will: Be responsible for supervising and managing the formulation development activities of the lab, including overseeing the scale-up of pilot and production batches and reviewing and preparing internal and external documents. * Supervise and make informed decisions on formulation development activities in accordance with departmental SOPs. * Contribute to the team's development and training initiatives, sharing responsibility for fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement. * Formulates regular and/or OEM/PTM products to required specifications. * Perform necessary assays and verifies all expected results. * Organizes cold room, freezer and formulation laboratory if necessary to their optimum uses. * Writes, reviews, revises and updates manufacturing documents, SOPs, or any other necessary technical document. * Assists with the writing and execution of any necessary validation protocols and reports. * Employee will contribute to a positive work environment. * Performs other tasks and duties as directed by management and supervisory personnel. * Assists in maintaining Quantimetrix Corporation quality system.This is a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will: * Bachelor Degree (B.A.) in related area plus one to two years' related experience. * Associates Degree (AA ot AS) plus two to four years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must have excellent written/verbal communication, technical writing, and problem solving skills. * Recommended proficiency in: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word. * Employee works in an environment that is known to have both hazardous and non-hazadours chemicals; thus wearing protective clothingl goggles, hair-net and masks are require. * While performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. * Noise level in work environment is usually moderate.Schedule:1st shift 7am-4:30pm Pay Rate: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour*Pay Rate offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
