Job description: Yard Associate will serve as a facility and forklift operator. It is the duty of the forklift operator/yard associate to perform the day-to-day operations on location and report to the Yard Manager and Regional Site Manager of the company. Position Requirements: Must be punctual and have reliable transportation. Minimum of high school education and some forklift/equipment operating experience. Knowledge of Landscaping/ Artificial Grass is a plus. Must be proficient in use of telehandler forklift, and basic hand tools. Duties: Loading/unloading of customers vehicles and semi-trucks with forklift Performing daily and weekly maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation of the yard Maintain an accurate inventory of yard, including photos of the product and property Maintain equipment on a daily and weekly schedule Support the operations department with pictures/descriptions of product Assist with sales associates’ and Yard Managers with the sale and advertisement of product Order supplies as needed for office/yard/equipment Promote and implement safety measures with all tasks Open and close yard to include setting alarm and securing gate All other tasks as assigned by management Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of operating equipment Forklift experience preferred Experience in customer service Strong problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivation and results driven Ability to lift 75lbs or more Basic Computer skills, Microsoft suite, Email Compensation: $18.00/hour Powered by JazzHR
