PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT II OR III Salary Range Level II $66,424-$83,030; Level III $76,098-$95,123 Join a small office team at BNI Energy located in Bismarck, ND supporting more than 180 proud coal mining employees. We are seeking a full-time Payroll Accountant II or III who will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the accounting team by performing duties including payroll, royalty accounting, reporting, various compliance filings, and other special projects. Position requirements include: At least two years’ experience processing payroll; five years’ experience for level III General accounting, controls, and auditing Excellent interpersonal skills Must be well organized to meet deadlines Must be able to analyze information, data, and tasks, draw conclusions and make timely recommendations Strong IT skills are important. Microsoft GP Dynamics, Excel and experience with other web-based finance and HR systems are desired. Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required. Certification as a CPA/CIA or working toward certification.
