Position Summary: The TFP Housing Program Manager’s primary responsibilities include building housing partnerships at all levels of care, coordinating availability of housing that match participant needs, and the development and implementation of a transitional housing program for survivors of human trafficking. Participant needs range from emergency shelter to long term housing. The housing manager will work closely with Case Managers to understand participant needs and increase awareness and access to available housing resources. The Housing Program Manager reports to the Program Director. Schedule: • The typical working hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week, between the hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm• Work is in person, with some remote options depending on the supervisor’s request and client needs• Periodic on-call may be necessary due to the crisis nature of this work Note: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee incumbent in this position. Compensation: The annual salary range is $48,000 - $56,000 depending on experience. Benefits include a $500/month health reimbursement for employees; all regular, full-time employees accrue PTO time at a rate of 176 hours per year or 14.67 hours per month their first year; a mental health day each quarter; 9 holidays and a week-long Winter Break at the end of the year; there is a potential 1-time moving stipend. *A SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with a percentage employer match will be in place by the end of the first year of employment. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Community Outreach:• Research potential housing partners, including non-profits, local and state resources, landlords, and management companies;• Build formal relationships with housing partners including MOUs;• Participate in local task force’s, case conferences, and community events to increase TFP visibility in the community and grow housing network Housing Coordination:• Develop protocols for tracking available housing; ensuring case managers have access to up to date availability, requirements, and cost; manage ongoing tracking and reporting• Work closely with Direct Services team to find best fit for participant based on need and availability• Work with Program Director to develop and maintain housing cost tracking system• Serve as the point person with landlords and community partners to secure housing, submit applications Program Development:• Work with Program Director to develop a democratically run transitional housing program for survivors;• Use research and evaluation from previous housing experience and evidence based housing models to develop best practices and program manuals;• Work with researchers to measure impact of housing on program participant safety, stability and connection;[1] • Work with landlords and local municipalities to secure real estate;• Work with Program Director to build project plan for implementation; lead implementation efforts• Understand and leverage funding from multiple sources, including: HUD, local Housing Authorities, DAODIS (Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services), corporate partnerships, etc.• Understand, leverage, and engage successful housing models (ie, Oxford House, Front Porch Housing, Well House, etc.) Program Management:• Manage transitional housing program operations including tenant payments, utilities, maintenance;• Collaborate with case managers around participant needs that may arise from housing participation (ex: change in employment);• Oversee house protocols including reviewing house meeting notes, chore logs, and safety plans;• Work with Program Director to collect data for grant reports and internal process improvement Other Responsibilities:• Assist with case management responsibilities as needed.• Assist the team with other tasks as needed. Qualifications: Required Experience and Skills: • Experience or education in social work, housing access, or human services• Fierce care for empowering others and strong passion for providing support to give others the opportunity to reach their full potential• An understanding of the provision of trauma-informed services• A team oriented attitude• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Zoom.• Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing environment• Understanding of the funding streams and stakeholder systems supporting housing access Don’t meet the exact qualifications?
