Check out NWHM's 2023 Corporate Sustainability Report Job Title: Manager, Escrow FLSA Status: Salary Exempt Job Location: Irvine, CA (Office) or Beaverton, OR (Office) Reports to: VP of Sales Position Summary The Escrow Manager will oversee and manage the escrow process for our homebuilding projects, ensuring all transactions are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with excellent organizational and communication skills to manage the end-to-end escrow process from contract signing to the closing of sales transactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Design and manage the workflow of the escrow and settlement services department to ensure the timely closing of a high volume of real estate transactions. Supervision of assigned vendors, escrow officers, post-closing and curative personnel. Work with third-party vendors under detailed agreements. Operations oversight and distribution of work (as applicable) during peak periods Oversee file management and troubleshoot closing issues, monitor department performance. Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the escrow and settlement services department. Maintain guidelines and/or new procedures to ensure quality, operational efficiency and performance levels. Monitor development and management of operations to ensure compliance with corporate policy, statute and customs. Provide operational progress reports to Division President and Clients as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications: Intermediate MS Office Skills Ability to learn new computer software easily. Excellent communication and customer service skills – written and verbal. Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and positive. Ability to effectively work with managers and employees at all levels and develop positive relationships and a productive culture. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with diverse personalities. Has a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude and is comfortable working “hands-on.” Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing environments. Attention to detail. Very organized with a systematic approach to achieve accuracy and efficiency. High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum five years of operational experience implementing and managing closing workflow for a residential homebuilder or developer. Experience with escrow processes including HUD prep, closings, and disbursements. Comprehensive experience in assembling and tracking complex contracts from creation to final closing. Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on divisional and individual performance.
