Learn more at www.rmsmachining.com and www.cretexmedical.com.Facility Maintenance Technician SummaryThe Facilities Maintenance Tech is responsible for building and ground repairs and minor equipment installation and repairsSign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$3,000 dependent on level of experience!ResponsibilitiesFacility Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities * Plan and perform work relating to repair of buildings and grounds * Recommend improvements and changes for increased quality or efficiency * Perform preventative maintenance per schedule * Back up the janitor role * Work independently on projects of moderate complexity * Enters production information into the ERP system on a timely basis * Accurately records and reports hours worked * Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements * Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work * Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance * Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve * Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly * Participate in required company meetings * Maintain an organized work area (5S) * Participate in the Operational Excellence Program * Complete all other work duties as assigned * Ability to work in a manufacturing environmentQualificationsFacility Maintenance Technician Requirements * 1 year of experience in a related field * Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision * Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder (lead) fumes * Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents * Mechanical Aptitude * Dexterity and hand and eye coordination * Attention to detail * Strong problem-solving skills * Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks * Ability to collaborate and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and attend and participate in meetings * Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required * Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) * Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail * Organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment * Ability to prioritize and multitaskrms Company BenefitsAs a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
