What Will Be Your Environment: The Painesville facility is located in an eastern suburb of Cleveland, OH.We produce specialty additives for lubricating oils used in gasoline and diesel engines, automatic transmissions, gear drives, marine engines, tractors, and metalworking, with 450 employees. What Youll Do: As an Environmental Engineering Intern, you will: :Assist with strategic and tactical leadership in the development and implementation of the facility's environmental management programs and initiatives :Assure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, and Lubrizol standards and policies :Assist with the development and implementation of environmental programs and initiatives for various environmental media :Gather data, perform calculations, and complete reports to be submitted to regulatory agencies :Prepare permits, reports, forms, and other routine and non:routine submittals for various environmental media in an accurate and timely manner :Conduct data reviews, create documentation, and complete environmental systems updates :Assist with coordinating required testing events :Collaborate with personnel throughout the facility to implement and maintain environmental compliance initiatives Youll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. What Were Looking For: :Students currently pursuing an undergraduate degree inChemical Engineering,Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Studiesfrom an accredited university, with a graduation date up to2027. :Students with GPA : 3.0 will be given priority consideration. :Students who are interested in working in a chemical manufacturing environment. :Willing and able to work outdoors in inclement weather. :Presence of nuisance odors, noise, heavy machinery from chemical processes and testing facilities. :Requires use of appropriate PPE, Personal Protective Equipment, to fulfill safety requirements. These include but are not limited to; safety footwear, safety apparel, eye protection, hard hat, and hearing protection. :Physically able to climb and work in elevated area (i.e., climbing and descending stairs repeatedly during shift).
