The role of these teams is to manage customized invoice submission for Commercial customers, including submission in third party portals, customized spreadsheets, email, and some postal mailed invoices. Leads revenue/billing teams to ensure that we communicate billing events to the customer according to their preferences and works cross functionally across the organization with accounting, finance and service teams to ensure accurate revenue capture. Key Performance Indicators Invoice issue percentage (monthly) timely and accurateUnprocessed billing volume due to data errorsDays from service to invoice issuanceIncreased productivity and cost savings Principal Duties and Responsibilities Develops and leads the business strategy and processes for billing and reviews customer contracts for billing and payment term requirements Develops and leads customer communication strategy and policy for billing Establishes and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the order to invoicing cycle Develops key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and assess revenue leakage; ensures research, analysis and reporting to facilitate revenue captureFacilitates business process reviews to improve quality, efficiency and effectiveness of revenue cycle operations; tests, implements and evaluates enhancements \Analyzes invoicing and statement costs and develops cost reduction initiatives Partners with sales tax department and business in the management of sales tax process, including process improvement Partners with customer relationship teams to ensure the billing customer communications meet/exceed customer expectations Lead teams that bill special accounts with unique billing processes for large commercial accountsLead Implementations/Migrations for new and existing customersCollaborate with Admin, Customer Experience, Finance teams to mitigate any issues related to billing for special accountsProvide Training and Support to SupervisorsFacilitate Career Development Opportunities for Direct Reports CANDIDATE SUMMARY Required Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field or equivalent experience5 to 7 years experience in the billing and customer administration functionsSupervisory and project management experienceAbility to analyze large amounts of data and draw valid conclusionsCritical thinking, problem solving and decision making skillsExperience implementing standardized billing processes Knowledge of billing portals and systems preferredStrong accounting skillsPrevious managerial/leadership experience; medium to large team experience preferredStrong Computer Skills (Google Suite Preferred or Microsoft applications)Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentationPrior experience with pest control industry a plus Required Leadership Traits and Characteristics Coach, develop, manage and motivate colleaguesCalm, organized and optimistic in a dynamic work environmentManage key milestones to achieve organizational commitments and resultsInspire colleagues to high levels of performance keeping focus on competency, collaboration and accountabilityCreate a positive work environmentFoster relationships with internal and external customers to meet or exceed goals Formal Education, Qualifications or Training BS/BA in accounting/finance or equivalent experience required Why Choose Us?
