Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a OBTE & Booster Production Manager . This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do: Support the Air Force's Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) contract to replace the aging Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System and associated infrastructure. Essential functions include: * Cross functional communication, mentoring, and collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees. * Provides ownership for the people, processes, tools & training that support manufacturing operations and programs in achieving their missions. * Provides leadership direction in areas such as: Technical Guidance, Process Development, Continuous Improvement, Capacity Planning, Capital & Facility Planning, Cost/ Benefit Analysis, Manpower Planning, Staffing, and AS9100 and all auditable processes. * Driving employee efficiency. * Engaging employees to achieve their highest potential. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Job Qualifications: You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in STEM from an accredited university with 6 years of program management, business management or related engineering experience or Master's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience as mentioned above. * Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years * 1 year of technical or functional environment leadership experience * 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule * 1 year experience with Production Planning functions * Ability to obtain Program Special Access These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * Preferred candidate will be a proven leader; problem solver; possess a strong work ethic; and have excellent communications and interpersonal skills required to work closely with teammates, stakeholders and both internal and external customers. * Demonstrated leadership or management experience leading manufacturing or production operations activities, operating in a dynamic environment of increasing production schedules and high delivery rates * Familiarity with Northrop Grumman project execution, processes and procedures * Aerospace / ICBM Industry Experience * Experience working with ERP Systems such as: SAP & MES * Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) * Experience standing up tools / processes / production schedules / metrics #GBSDLeadership Salary Range: $119,300 - $178,900The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
