Location: Fort Collins, Colorado Status: Full Time, Salaried What You'll Do: This position will work primarily out of our Acute Care facility overseeing day to day bed utilization and admission coordination of bed-based crisis services. This position manages the ongoing bed utilization and appropriate placement of patients across units/levels of care within our bed-based care facilities, as well as coordinates patient movements and bed requests for all admissions and transfers in/out of the facilities. Coordinates and verifies that patients' and facility needs are met by evaluating unit medical/clinical care and performance. Participates in and provides overall coordination of bed assignments within all units/levels of care and coordinates activities with unit leadership and related departments. Responsible for providing guidance and coordinating communication with external facility referrals. Position also supports utilization management of services, ensuring that services are delivered in a manner that balances quality of care with efficiency, cost-containment and compliance. Supports clinical team during admissions review process and service requests within various units/levels of care.
