Description: Manufacturing Test Engineer - Junior Level Location: Greenville SC What You Will Be Doing Join our F-16 Production Engineering Team in Greenville, SC, as a Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE). In this pivotal role, you'll ensure the functionality and reliability of the F-16 fighter jet through meticulous testing and troubleshooting. You will develop Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs) from engineering releases, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, avionics, and systems integration issues, and collaborate with Systems and Design Engineering teams to verify engineering requirements during functional tests. Key Responsibilities - Create and implement detailed Manufacturing Test Procedures (MTPs) from engineering releases.- Provide expert troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, avionics, and systems integration issues.- Work with Systems and Design Engineering teams to verify and validate engineering requirements during testing.- Enhance testing methodologies to improve production efficiency and reliability of the F-16 fighter jet. Greenville, SCThis position is in Greenville, SC Discover Greenville. Candidate must be willing to work odd shifts and rotate weekends to support F-16 production as needed. Split shift (11 am - 9 pm) as required by business needs. Basic Qualifications: * Mechanical experience.* Experience with troubleshooting mechanical/avionics systems.* 5 years related experience.* Experience working with hydraulic, fuel, landing gear, jet fuel starter, or engine systems (mechanical). Desired Skills: * Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of mechanical aviation experience.* F-16 mechanical experience.* Yellow / Green Belt - Lean.* Experience developing work instructions / test documents.* Prior service or field experience a bonus. * Experience with systems engineering and production operations to quantify, validate, and coordinate requirements.* Software programming.* Good communication and problem-solving skills.* Experience with Microsoft Office products.* Experience with FAC Test, Electrical, Flight Controls and Instrument Systems.* Experience working with Avionics / Displays, JHMCS, EW / CM, RADAR, and PMD / Mission Planning. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
