TITLE: Marketing and Communications AssociateREPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Marketing and Communications ManagerLOCATION: ChicagoTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Opportunity for periodic travel to eventsFull-time, Exempt PositionPRIMARY FUNCTION: The Marketing and Communications Associate is primarilyresponsible for the management of the PFF's email communications and overseeing thedevelopment of the Foundation's video content to educate, inform, and fundraise. Theposition assists in the creative process for social media and advertisement campaigns.Assists with the creation of materials for promotional and awareness efforts. This is afast-paced, deadline-driven environment where accuracy, efficiency, and strongorganizational skills are equally important. The position requires a strong communicatorwith excellent writing and organization skills. This position will also assist with a varietyof projects within the Marketing and Communication department and foundation-wideprojects.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:Brand Identityo Maintain and enforce PFF Visual Identity Guidelineso Advise on creative direction and strategy for all public-facing PFF materials,including website, emails, documents, fundraising items, education materials, etc.Video and photography productiono Staff lead for all video production-related projects as it relates to Development,Programs, Summit, Registry, and CCN.o On occasion, take photos and videos for events or initiatives, and edit forpromotional use.Organization Communicationso Serve as staff lead on creation and distribution of PFF eNewsletters and targetedeBlastso Manage the Foundation's email schedule by working with all departments toensure proper timing and appropriate audienceo Maintain the Foundation's brand image through website, email communications,social media, and videoWebsite/Social Mediao Assist with daily website maintenance and ongoing updates to visual andfunctional elementsPage 2 of 2o Monitor trends within the community on social media, emails and websites andmake recommendations on marketing strategy.In conjunction with Marketing and Communications colleagues, responsible fordevelopment of various types of content, including:Disease education materialsMaterials needed in connection with the PFF SummitDonor communications, including appeals, invitations, and stewardshipreportsBreathe BulletinAnnual reportsPress releasesQUALIFICATIONS:RequiredMinimum of bachelor's degree in Marketing-related field3+ years of Marketing/Communications experience preferredExcellent organizational skillsStrong knowledge of applications related to video productionStrong knowledge of social media applicationsProficiency with MS Office Suite, Google Docs/Sheets/Forms, Internet and emailapplicationsAbility to establish and maintain constructive business relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders while maintaining integrity and confidentialityHigh ethical standardsStrongly preferredKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Constant Contact, MicrosoftSuite, CanvaStrong writing and editing skillsEvent production experienceKnowledge of SEO strategyQUALIFICATIONS:RequiredMinimum of bachelor's degree in Marketing-related field3+ years of Marketing/Communications experience preferredExcellent organizational skillsStrong knowledge of applications related to video productionStrong knowledge of social media applicationsProficiency with MS Office Suite, Google Docs/Sheets/Forms, Internet and emailapplicationsAbility to establish and maintain constructive business relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders while maintaining integrity and confidentialityHigh ethical standardsStrongly preferredKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Constant Contact, MicrosoftSuite, CanvaStrong writing and editing skillsEvent production experienceKnowledge of SEO strategyrecblid 1i004ot32oygrd7q0dy1827xdheeclBA/BS/UndergraduatePDN-9c1de7b8-cbdd-4f9c-af53-2c462d5d58d5
