Infrastructure Storage EngineerJob Description: We are seeking an Infrastructure Storage Engineer to support the next generation of satellite command and control systems for a government customer. As part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for managing storage services across multiple environments and providing solutions for storage-related issues. The ideal candidate should be a strong troubleshooter with experience in storage issue mitigation and prevention. This role may require occasional on-call support, overtime, and after-hours availability for installation and troubleshooting.Basic Qualifications:U.S. citizenship and current TS or TS/SCI Security Clearance (only U.S. citizens eligible)BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or PhysicsMinimum of 5 years of related work experienceExperience with storage configuration in physical and virtualized environmentsFamiliarity with enterprise backup architecture, emphasizing Cohesity backup solutionsThorough understanding of on-premise and virtualized infrastructure data center systems designProficiency in Linux System AdministrationHands-on scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with containerized storage solutions (e.g., PVC/OCP/Kubernetes)Automation design and implementation using Unix/Linux command-line shell scriptsKnowledge of fiber channel configurations on storage, fiber channel switches, tape libraries, and servers (including multipath configurations)Proficiency in standard MS Office productivity suite (intermediate experience with Excel and Visio)Ability to create informative charts and drawings illustrating storage system configuration and designExperience with delivery coordination to a siteCurrent Security+ certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
