Director, Product Development The Product Development & Commercialization team at WealthVest seeks to advance WealthVest’s fixed annuity, fixed index annuity, registered index-linked annuities, variable annuities, structured products and market-linked CDs business through client-centric innovation and commercialization strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share. The Director, Product & Commercialization will lead and direct product development and commercialization initiatives. Annuity product development & competitive intelligence Regularly coordinate with insurance company partners and key internal stakeholders to develop a consistent pipeline of new annuity concepts across fixed, fixed index, registered index-linked, and variable annuity concepts and innovation opportunities within the framework of WealthVest’s strategic priorities Organize and lead the research activities vital for proper evaluation and prioritization of product concepts and innovation Direct the development of summary analyses and recommendations for prioritization based on what is selling in the marketplace Direct and communicate annuity competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders Establish a consistent, disciplined marketing strategy to drive flows into bespoke indices in indexed annuities and registered linked annuities Structured product development & marketing Regularly coordinate with structured product issuers and key internal stakeholders to develop monthly structured product calendars Establish a consistent, disciplined marketing strategy and approach for monthly calendars, and structured product thought leadership by leveraging capabilities across the firm and issuers to maximize revenue growth and market share Key Requirements, Skills, and Experience Undergraduate degree required Preferred licenses: Insurance license and Series 7 Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services industry focusing on product management for annuities Management experience is a positive Internal sales or external annuity sales experience is a positive Annuity desk experience is a positive Strong understanding of financial markets, investment concepts and styles Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts Must be organized and detail-oriented and demonstrate a high level of professionalism Must work well both independently, and as a team member, and be able to manage time under tight deadlines Benefits Medical FSA + HSA Dental Vision Life & AD&D Short Term Disability Long Term Disability Employee Assistance Program 401(k) + Roth 401(k) + 401(k) matching (up to 3% on both the regular and Roth 401(k) options) Position Type Full-timeIn-office in Bozeman, MT This role is open to applicants in the following areas: Salt Lake City, UT; Boise, ID; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO.
