360 Talent Avenue is partnering to place Elementary School Teachers (Kindergarten & 5th Grade) with a progressive, independent school that emphasizes emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and happiness. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching young children and adept at creating an engaging, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment. This position will teach Elementary School in a private, progressive, globally minded school. This is a direct placement role with our client in the Miami, FL area. Highly Competitive Compensation in line with experience As an Elementary School Teacher you will: Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's elementary curriculum program. Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth. Foster a love for learning by delivering engaging, hands-on lessons in core subjects including math, science, language arts, and social studies. Incorporate mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and social-emotional learning activities into daily routines. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Assess and monitor student progress through observations, tests, and portfolio assessments. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best practices. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events. Uphold school policies, procedures, and high standards of professional behavior. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). At least two years of teaching experience in an elementary school setting in Kindergarten or 5th Grade. Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and best teaching practices. Excellent classroom management skills. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
