360 Talent Avenue is partnering to place a Math Teacher with a progressive, independent school that emphasizes emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and happiness. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching mathematics and able to create an engaging learning environment that fosters student success. This position will teach Middle and High School Math in a private, progressive, globally minded school. This is a direct placement role with our client in the Miami, FL area. Highly Competitive Compensation in line with experience As a Math Teacher you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning in Algebra, Geometry, Functions & Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus, SAT, ACT Prep. Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments that are in accordance with established procedures. Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction. Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school. Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations. Prepare required reports on students and activities; Participate in department, school, and parent meetings. Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities. Observe and evaluate student's performance and development. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. At least two years of teaching experience in a middle or high school setting. Proven ability to teach a range of math courses from middle to high school levels. Strong classroom management skills.
