Qualifications•Excellent customer service and communication skills •Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities •Basic computer skills and proficiency in using reservation systems •Ability to work independently and as part of a team •Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends •If you are a friendly, reliable, and adaptable individual who is passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences, we invite you to join our team at Hampton Inn in Fishkill, NY Responsibilities•Shifts: (Primary Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Night Audit)( Shift pay for Night Audit) •Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet guests warmly and assist them with the check-in and check-out process •Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently •Reservations: Handle guest reservations, inquiries, and changes with professionalism and attention to detail •Utilize the reservation system effectively •Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously •Be knowledgeable about hotel services and local attractions •Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment accurately •Balance cash drawers and maintain financial records •Room Assignments: Assign guest rooms and issue room keys while ensuring the hotel's security and privacy standards are met •Night Audit: Conduct night audit procedures accurately, including reconciling daily transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records •Telephone Operations: Answer and direct phone calls professionally and efficiently, providing information and assistance as needed •Guest Assistance: Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, and any special requests to enhance their stay •Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety and emergency procedures •Be aware of and report any suspicious activities •Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and record-keepingBenefits•Expected hours: 40 per week •Employee discount •Paid time off •8 hour shift
