POSITION PURPOSE: Primary responsibilities are to accurately invoice AR customers per their billing requirements. Assist Builder Centers and/or Sales in obtaining documentation needed to invoice the customer. Also work directly with customers to assist in collection of needed documentation. Assist Credit Analysts in all credit and collection activities and invoicing of accounts, including account research, copying, scanning, filing, typing and QMS processing. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Experience * Minimum of 1 year of credit or accounting experience Skills * Strong analytical skills. * Computer skills including Microsoft products, specifically Access, Excel and Word * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent customer service skills that align to American Woodmark CITE Principles and Supporting Values work successfully with customers and professional sales staff. Education * High School diploma, or equivalent, with classes including accounting, business, and/or finance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Responsibility of billing invoices for multiple Builder Centers that require special handling * Use Maestro to check invoices against latest PO and pricing * Use customer's web portal to review latest order/PO change * Follow up on the above accounts to insure all invoices have been billed * Follow up with Builder locations when necessary paperwork is missing or incomplete * Maintain an excel file to track missing information we are waiting on from Builder Center and perform follow up * Directly contact AR customer to resolve missing paperwork for invoicing * Work with Credit Manager to process QMS for differences in invoicing * Maintain and update the billing requirements by the Customer's requirements * Scanning of all documents related to the billing process * Updating of AR open items to have a tracking of our invoicing * Discuss with Customers/Credit Analyst new billing requirements * Account Receivables functions to assist Credit Analyst with: -QMS processing -Pulling invoices -Assist in researching credit issues -Assist Team in any area as needed SCOPE & EXPECTATIONS: * This role has a Remote Work Location. Some Training will be required at the Corporate Office in Winchester, VA, which is a typical office environment. * Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed in high business demands. * Reports to: Manager, Credit * The recruitment process may consist of any combination of phone, video, and in-person interviews. * Offers may be contingent upon the successful completion of a Background Check, Drug Screen, Physical Examination, and/or potential Motor Vehicle Check.
