Practice Area: Finance - General,Finance - Project Finance, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Agency Finance Associate Attorney for their Washington, D.C. office. The Associate Attorney will play a key role in cross-border transactions, focusing on project finance, structured finance, or corporate finance. The ideal candidate will have prior transactional experience and a proactive approach to taking on increased responsibilities. Duties:Participate in cross-border transactions in the areas of project finance, structured finance, or corporate financeConduct legal research and due diligenceDraft and negotiate transactional documentsCommunicate effectively with clients and counterpartiesSupport senior attorneys in deal management and strategyTake on increased levels of responsibility in deal support and execution Requirements:Demonstrated interest in cross-border transactions, preferably in project finance, structured finance, or corporate financePrior experience in a leading domestic or international law firmMeaningful transactional experienceAdmission to practice law in New York Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to practice law in New York Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work efficiently and collaboratively in a team environmentAction-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solvingProfessional proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French (valuable) Benefits Offered:Discretionary bonusHealth and welfare benefits, including parental, adoption, and fertility benefitsFlexible time offPaid holidays This firm values diversity and boasts a progressive attitude towards associate life.
