In this role, you will be responsible for HIC's sales and business growth with travel agencies/agents within the USA. Principal duties include identifying, developing and maintaining travel agency/agent relationships, the implementation of tactical and strategic plans with agencies, product training, and escorting travel agent FAMS, participation in travel trade conferences and events, representing and promoting the Inclusive Collection.Candidates should live near a major airport gateway as this position requires significant domestic and international travel.A successful Business Development Manager - Host will: Develop and maintain excellent commercial communication with travel agency accounts identifying and responding to growth opportunities. Increase Confidant Collective engagement with HOST agency TA's and agencies Identify new accounts/ TA's and onboard those accounts with the Inclusive Collection through a variety of processes including sales calls, training, Rewards and FAMS Attend nationally and overseas as required sales conferences and travel industry events promoting the Inclusive Collection and seeking new contacts/opportunities Undertake Inclusive Collection product training and Confidant Collective resource training with travel agents through sales calls, webinars, events, sales blitzes etc. Maintain a local budget and optimize its use for local sales opportunities and events Full use of SalesForce the Inclusive Collections sales CRM is logging sales calls, entering competitive information, opportunities etc. as a part of standardized procedure Full and open communication with the Sr. Manager Host Agencies with weekly 1-on-1 meetings and monthly planning and review meetings Demonstrate a commitment to ALG core values The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing.
