You will be instrumental in designing,planning and coordinating work teams, as well as providing technical support.You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; tryingdifferent and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. You willinterface and exchange with internal and external customers, vendors andsuppliers throughout the life of the project. Key Responsibilities -Requirements and design-Software architecture and coding-Integration-Certification-Test-Feature Definition-Customer Support-Verification and Validation-Ability to code in multiple languages-Analytical skills & software development skills U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization#LI-Hybrid YOU MUST HAVE -Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering or Computer Science-Minimum of 8 years of experience in Avionics software development WE VALUE -Understanding DO-178C software development lifecycle-Significant relevant experience with real-time embedded software development-Proficiency in C/C++, Python -Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.-Experience with Datalink products such as ACARS, ATN, PM-CPDLC.-Experience with Communication, Navigation, GNSS, or Surveillance radios.-Diverse and global teaming and collaboration-Advanced communication skills-Wide degree of creativity and latitude-Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work independently, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked or forced to by events.-Ability to consistently make timely decisions in the face of technical complexity, balancing analysis with bias for action.-Private or commercial pilot experience.
