You ensure that final contractual documents drive growth and include all deal parameters approved in accordance with respective approval processes and Honeywell business is conducted with the highest ethical standards, internal company policies and local and international laws. Key Responsibilities Contract support of the Defense & Space OEM customers. All facets of contract formation and contractmanagementincluding drafting, interpretation,negotiation, contract review, andadministrationof complex customer agreements. Providingindependentand objectivecontract evaluationas well as experienced advice and sound guidance to various functions, as applicable Advising internal stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and providing interpretation of terms and conditions. Focusing on the continual improvement in the speed, quality, and simplicity of contract formation andmanagementprocesses, without compromisingcompliance. Usingsix sigma/ lean methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and improve responsiveness. Collaborating with various teams and functions at multiple sites, ensuringorganizational effectivenessandstandardization. Supporting the maximization of cost targets and cash flow while minimizing risk in thenegotiationof contracts. Contributing to the development of strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring provision of top-class service and high customer satisfaction. U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in commercial orgovernment contractingor advanced graduate degree with 3+ years of experience in commercial orgovernment contracting Due to certain U.S. GovernmentContracting restrictions, U.S. Citizenship required. WE VALUE JD or MBA preferred Advanced ability to analyze, draft, andnegotiatecomplex agreements Ability toresearchand analyze complex issues and developinnovative solutions Government contractingexperience including FAR /DFARknowledge desirable. Ability to anticipate common patterns ofnegotiationand advise customers on basicstrategic planningto manage or respond to them Strong problem solving, contractualnegotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong working knowledge of customer contractadministrationincluding legal,procurement,accountingrequirements, andinternational contracting lawsdesirable Demonstrated interpersonal skills, leadership and initiative with results in dynamic environments Six SigmaGreenbelt certification desirable Drive efficiencies andprocess improvements. Strongorganizationandproject management skills.
