Job Overview:The Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in handling intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation, and counseling clients on ongoing matters. Duties:Represent clients in intellectual property litigation cases, including patent and/or trade secret disputes.Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and client counseling.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client management.Provide legal counsel to clients on intellectual property matters. Requirements:Admission to a State Bar is required.Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework are highly valued.Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.3-5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters.Outstanding research and analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Sound legal and business knowledge in working on a broad spectrum of cases and counseling clients with respect to ongoing matters. Education/Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to a State Bar. Skills:Litigation experience in intellectual property matters.Legal research and writing skills.Strong analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
