Job Overview:The Mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney will play a vital role in handling intellectual property matters, especially patent and/or trade secret litigation, and providing counsel to clients. Duties:Advocate for clients in intellectual property litigation cases, emphasizing patent and/or trade secret disputes.Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and client advisement.Prepare and draft various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and client correspondences.Participate actively in all stages of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop effective case strategies and manage client relationships.Offer legal guidance and assistance to clients on a diverse range of intellectual property issues. Requirements:Must be admitted to a State Bar.Strong academic background in law and undergraduate studies is highly valued.Preferred undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.3-5 years of experience in intellectual property matters, particularly in patent and/or trade secret litigation.Demonstrated strong work ethic, leadership skills, and willingness to assume increased responsibilities.Exceptional research and analytical capabilities.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Comprehensive understanding of legal and business principles relevant to intellectual property cases. Education/Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to a State Bar. Skills:Proven track record in intellectual property litigation.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong analytical abilities.Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
