ECS is seeking a Facility Construction Onsite Lead to work in our Newport, RI office. Job Description: We are currently seeking a three highly motivated and organized onsite Infrastructure leads that will be tasked with daily oversight of new maritime port facilities supporting the NOAA fleet. As a Mid-Senior level professional, you will be the onsite lead and primary interface with any onsite representatives for the construction of various facilities including NOAA's newest facility on the Navy Base in Newport RI, the port facility at Pier Papa in Charleston SC and other NOAA port locations. While a background in Project Management and construction is essential, prior experience in engineering, working with NAVFAC or construction of maritime facilities is highly desired. The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, capable of independently managing tasks and projects, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to various challenges and responsibilities. If not already cleared, the candidates must be able to obtain a US Government issued CAC card for access to the facilities. What to expect: Work closely with the NOAA infrastructure program management team to support NOAA infrastructure projects.For Newport RI position, daily presence onsite is required with limited travel expected. Lead design and review of construction drawings, design changes and change order.Provide oversight and familiarity with all trades associated with facilities construction.Will managed documentation and communications with associated with all aspects of facilities construction.Lead/manage meetings ensuring actions, and decisions are made, self directed approach to problem-solving.Multitask effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination between all parties.Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring that project documentation and records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.Required Skills: 8+ years experience providing construction oversight and Project Management for infrastructure projects. US citizenship required per contract. Public trust security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills using problem/root cause identification and effective solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take comprehensive meeting notes.Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.Desired Skills: Prior NOAA facilities experience.Prior government facilities new construction experience.Prior navy construction and NAVFAC construction projects.Currently has a US Government CAC.PDN-9c1bcb4b-fa8b-4355-90ba-91f3710725ae
