Provide patient with safe, appropriate phototherapy and Modified Goeckerman treatments following provider instructions and protocols.? Carry out commonly used therapeutic nursing procedures, assist patients with activities of daily living and encourage appropriate self-care? Assist with maintaining supply inventory and stocking exam rooms? Maintain equipment and arrange for service as needed? Provide for the safety of self and others by adherence to hospital safety guidelines, policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety policies. ? Participate in the development and adherence of quality assurance/continuous quality monitoring.? Attend appropriate continuing education and staff development programs.? Participate in staff meetings and in-service? Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care. ? Knowledge and appropriate use of internal and external resources. ? Other responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications* ? Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing? Current licensure as an LPN to practice nursing in the State of MichiganNOTE: Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. RESUME REQUIRED (for both internal & external applicants): You must attach a complete and accurate resume to be fully considered for this position. Desired Qualifications* ? Two (2) years of LPN experience with adult patients? Two (2) years of LPN experience in an ambulatory care setting? Dermatology experience? Electronic medical record experience, e.g., Epic Work Schedule Hours: 40 hours per week. Day shift, Monday ? Friday with some Saturdays, as needed. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Location: Dermatology ? Domino Farms Background Screening Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
