Job Title Associate Implementation Engineer About Your Business Area/Department: The AMER Implementation team is responsible for the delivery of Operational and Passenger Processing Solutions to different airports and airlines. The team works directly with the customers to deliver cutting edge technologies and applications. Summary of the role: This position is responsible for providing implementation-related services and support to the Amadeus Airport IT Americas OPS Implementation team. Will work with the global OPS team consisting of product delivery, project managers, and system engineers and will use their existing background of supporting and delivering to assist with the delivery of the full suite of OPS solutions and will interact with the Implementation team daily to determine project requirements, understand client issues (and enhancement requests), and provide support where needed. In this role you'll: Analyze customer systems and service requirements. Identify specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products/services. Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule. Determine and document adaptations to Amadeus products and services. Write functional specifications used for customization and/or verify that specifications reflect customer requirements. Guarantee that customized products/solutions meet specified requirements. Perform the necessary tests on the customized solution before it is delivered to the customer. Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and/or customer functional staff. Support project activities during the implementation. Participate in system upgrades, enhancements both on customer premise and remotely. Travel to customer sites About the ideal candidate: Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. Strong Communication Skills Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
