Job Overview:Provide crucial guidance on navigating healthcare regulatory requirements.Utilize expertise in healthcare compliance to assist clients in various regulatory matters.Opportunity to work on complex healthcare transactions and regulatory issues. Duties:Ensure compliance with key healthcare regulations such as the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare conditions of participation, and state regulations.Advise clients on HIPAA, health care privacy, data breach, Knox-Keene, digital health, telehealth, healthcare technology transactions, ACOs, and/or Medicare Direct Contracting Enterprise (DCD) program.Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on healthcare regulatory matters.Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.Take ownership of projects, working both independently and collaboratively within a team.Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address concerns. Requirements:Admission to the Bar in the state.5-7 years of regulatory experience in the healthcare sector.Familiarity with key healthcare regulatory requirements, including the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare conditions of participation, and state regulations.Experience in HIPAA, health care privacy, data breach, Knox-Keene, digital health, telehealth, healthcare technology transactions, ACOs, and/or Medicare Direct Contracting Enterprise (DCD) program is advantageous.Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in the state. Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong research and analytical skills.Ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively in a team.Proficiency in legal drafting and analysis.Strong interpersonal skills for direct client communication.
