Full Time position for Janitorial/Housekeeper. Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional weekends. JANITORIAL/HOUSEKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembles and disbands chairs, tables, microphones, etc. for meetings and/or special events as directed or as outlined in written order for room set-up. Moves residents' furniture and performs deep cleanings. Lifts 50 or more pounds of trash/refuse consistently for 4 or more hours per day. Auto scrubbing of floors. Acts upon work orders as assigned. Climbing ladders. Cleans offices, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways. Cleans resident apartments as scheduled. Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures to resident rooms after resident is discharged and in preparation for next occupant. Performs cleaning and sanitizing procedures in accordance with infection control policies and procedures. Uses effective universal precautions and sanitation practices. Completes any report or log as requested. Attends related in-service trainings and staff meetings as requested. Immediately reports malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. JANITORIAL/HOUSEKEEPER QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED preferred. Some related experience preferred. Fluent English speaking/writing communication skills. Must be able to maintain general sanitary/safety practices. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed. Powered by JazzHR
