We need a hardworking person who can get in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. You may be required to undertake additional cleaning duties as needed. If this sounds like a great opportunity, apply now! Responsibilities: • Rinse glassware, scrape plates, and sort dishes before loading them into the dishwasher• Take part in employee meetings regularly to stay up to date on all policies and safety regulations• Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily• Keep track of dishwashing machine mechanical defects while also maintaining accurate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies• Place utensils and dishes in proper storage areas after unloading the dishwasher Qualifications: • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired• Excellent stamina and physical health• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic About Company: Marriott Schaumburg is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and boasts easy access to the highway for quick drives to downtown Chicago or O'Hare International Airport.
