Beyond serving food and drinks to guests, clearing plates and silverware, and making sure any special guest needs or requests are taken care of, our servers understand that their job is an important part of creating a great experience. Our banquet servers work closely with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff to ensure events run smoothly. If you want to be part of an award-winning banquet team, apply today. Responsibilities: • Clear plates, replace silverware, and be mindful of needs guests have • Provide excellent service to all guests from start to finish of special events• Deliver and serve appetizers, main courses, condiments, desserts, and other side dishes, as well as drinks to guests• Refill the guests' glasses as necessary or requested with coffee, water, or other drinks• Verify that you and your team members are following relevant food handling safety requirements• Provides a pleasant banquet experience to customers• Serves drinks and food while maintaining a clean and sanitary service area• Attention to detail and presentation of banquet set-up• Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Qualifications: • Outstanding time management and organizational skills• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)• Experience working in food service is preferred• Must have a team-first attitude and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and coworkers Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly About Company: Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere and welcomes a wide variety of guests from many different backgrounds.
