Paralegal Thriving South Bay boutique personal injury firm seeks a Paralegal to join their team. The Paralegal will perform a variety of tasks including assisting with case planning, development, and management; legal research, client interviews; gathering facts and retrieving information; drafting and analyzing legal documents; and utilizing technical information to make recommendations to an attorney. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases Maintain and organize legal files and documents Prepare correspondence and memos Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently Preparing and responding to notices, objections, responses, and demands Calendaring court deadlines, scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and court dates. Follow up with attorneys Drafting correspondence and routine pleadings Assisting in other miscellaneous aspects of personal injury litigation QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or completion of an approved paralegal program/ Paralegal Certificate Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a litigation paralegal, including plaintiff experience in personal injury litigation Experienced and well versed in the litigation process Excellent technical skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Bilingual English/Spanish desired PAY $25.00 + per hour, depending upon experience Generous benefits package Powered by JazzHR
