Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our talented team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at WTCP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to patient care and improve their outcomes. The location is in Alturas, CA The working schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM; no weekends ;1 hour for evaluations, 45 min follow up appointments, no double booking. Total of 8-9 patients/day. The duration is 13 weeks as a contractor The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer Holiday requirements are as needed On-call requirements are not required The pay: $57.75 Hourly ($1,480.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $2,310.00 Weekly = $9,240.00 Monthly Gross Date: 05.17.24 | Job Number: 268468 Key Responsibilities: PTAs assist in assessing patients by observing their movement, strength, flexibility, and overall physical condition PTAs carry out the treatment plans created by physical therapists. This may involve exercises, stretches, manual therapy techniques, and the use of therapeutic equipment PTAs educate patients on their condition, the purpose of various exercises, and techniques to improve their mobility. They may also provide guidance on at-home exercises and self-care.
