Classroom Instruction and Hands-On Training In the initial phase of the program, you will engage in classroom instruction and hands-on training sessions. You'll learn the fundamentals of commercial driving, including maneuvering techniques and safe driving practices. Our experienced trainers will guide you through the process, ensuring you develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skills essential for success on the road. Over-the-Road Experience and Freight Delivery Once you've mastered the basics, you'll transition to the next phase, where you'll gain invaluable over-the-road experience. Partnering with an experienced driver, you'll live in the truck and embark on journeys delivering challenging freight. This phase offers real-world exposure to various driving conditions, routes, and cargo types, allowing you to refine your skills and build confidence behind the wheel. Continued Development and Team Collaboration As you progress through the program, you'll have the opportunity to drive with a teammate and receive continued support from our training, dispatch, and safety teams. Regular check-ins and ongoing mentorship will ensure your growth and development as a professional driver. With two schedule options to choose from, you'll have the flexibility to balance work and personal commitments while honing your craft on the road. Key Responsibilities: Participate actively in all phases of the training program, demonstrating a commitment to learning and improvement. Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all times. Collaborate effectively with teammates, dispatchers, and customers to deliver exceptional service. Maintain accurate records of driving activities, hours of service, and vehicle maintenance. Embrace feedback and guidance to continuously enhance your skills and performance. Requirements: Minimum age of 21 years old. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain one through company-sponsored training. Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
