POSITION PURPOSE:The Sr Analyst, Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics is a key member of the Information Technology team whose primary mission is to partner with key business and IT leaders for the delivery of business intelligence and operational technology solutions used to enable and support critical business functions and processes across the enterprise. This position requires proficient knowledge in areas of business operations, business processes, business & manufacturing intelligence technologies, critical business data, and key operational reporting and analytics across key business functions. Responsibilities include enterprise architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, solution development, service support, application security and IT compliance. Support production systems including analyzing and resolving production problems and end user service requests as appropriate. Provide a high-level of customer service across the organization with a primary focus on systems availability, performance, reliability, security, and established service level metrics. This position will be responsible for the analytics solutions and services that deliver data-driven insights. Lead development and implementation of business & manufacturing intelligence technology strategy leveraging leading technologies to achieve company goals and improve critical business functions. Collaborate with business and IT leaders to design and develop information management capabilities and deploy the governance of key business metrics, drive the deployment of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value. Develop standards, tools, and governance for capturing, modeling, storing, and delivering data for the enterprise including identifying data-related business requirements and service standards, develop a high level enterprise data model and conceptual views of related data sub-architectures (e.g., database, data integration, data warehouse/business intelligence, reporting, automation, metadata, and content management architectures). Data engineering work includes creating data architectures for databases and data warehouses (i.e., designing and specifying the overall database/data warehouse structure based on functional and technical requirements); develop logical and physical data models; develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation; manage data migrations/conversions and troubleshooting data processing issues. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. Experience* 4+ years total experience in Information Technology, including minimum 2 years in complex technology environments. * 2+ years in relevant experience as data scientist, data engineer, software engineer, business intelligence engineer, or equivalent.* 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution industries. * 2+ years of experience in systems development and project management.* 2+ years of experience using SQL, SSAS, ETL (SSIS) and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.* 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and operating end-to-end automated solutions/platforms across SaaS, Cloud, and On-prem.* Strong proficiency in Python or Java is a plus, and experience in building various machine learning models is preferred.* Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and/or SCADA systems. Skills* Proficient project management skills, with the ability to develop and communicate a future state vision that aligns with the IT and business strategy.* Possesses strong leadership, communication, planning, negotiating and management skills.* Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources required for success may not be in direct control of this role.* Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills* Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.* Ability to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance automated solutions to streamline operations.* Take charge of high-profile, complex automation projects, ensuring quality and timely project delivery through close collaboration with cross-functional team members.* Strong sense of self, ethics and effort, as well as the willingness to go the extra mile to achieve important goals.* Hands-on experience in system integration of complex application systems. (e.g. custom solutions, package solutions, Cloud, SaaS, and PaaS) Education* Bachelor of Science in IT or Business ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Development in T-SQL, PL-SQL, SSAS, SSIS, PowerBI.* Understand, develop and create Enterprise Data Warehouse, and the ETL processes.* Design system changes and project level business process enhancements.* Candidate must work well with others and demonstrate work in a team environment. * Supervisory Responsibilities:* Typically, this position does not have supervisory responsibilities. SCOPE & EXPECATIONS: * Hybrid work environment requiring minimum of three days in the office (Tue,Wed,Thur). * Occasionally requires work on or around the manufacturing floor and/or sales office. * Hours are varied and may include after-hours or weekend work to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. * Reports to: Manager, Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics* Travel is typically not required but may be necessary (up to 25%) to any of our manufacturing facilities in the United States and Mexico.* Recruitment process may consist of any combination of phone, video and in person interviews. * Offers may be contingent upon successful completion of Background Check, Drug Screen, Physical Examination and/or potential Motor Vehicle Check.
