A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for a SharePoint Developer / Administrator for a 12+ month contract. This will be a hybrid role with onsite work in Manhattan. Pay Rate Range: $60.00 - $70.00 Responsibilities: * The resource contractor will be required to lead the project for migrating On-premises SharePoint to SharePoint online with help of Power platform and customizations with low code or no code platforms. * Lead the administration and support of SharePoint environment both on-Prem 2016 and new Online SharePoint environment. * Lead the design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model. * Lead the migration of all existing Nintex/ out of box native workflows to the new cloud-based solution using the SharePoint & Power Apps (Power Automate, Flows, Power Pages, Data-verse etc.) or similar low code development tools. * The resource will also lead in consultation with the business analysts, develop new Power BI reports and enhance the current reports. Design and develop data models to support efficient data retrieval and analysis in Power BI. Implement data integration processes to bring data from various sources into Power BI datasets. * Lead the creation of interactive and visually compelling Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements. Ensure that reports are user-friendly, provide valuable insights, and adhere to data visualization best practices. Establish data governance processes to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data privacy regulations. * Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and control user access to Power BI resources. * Optimize Power BI reports and queries for improved performance and faster response times. * Provide training sessions and user support to help employees effectively utilize Power BI for self-service reporting and analytics. * Address and resolve any Power BI-related issues raised by end-users. * Manage the Power BI environment, including user provisioning, licenses, and system configurations by working with ITS * Collect the business requirements for different business applications to support data capture and reporting process. The contractor will be responsible for meeting the business process owners, understanding their business processes, coordinating with application development group and developing the detailed application requirement documents. * Contractor will be responsible for coordinating between content owners and manage all contents migration to new platform. * The contractor will be responsible for administering and configuring the applications on SharePoint environment. * Contractor will be responsible for coordinating with business user, and help them with updating the SharePoint web content, Administer the user access, help users create list, document libraries web pages etc. * Must be able to help and train the content owners to be self-reliant with day today SharePoint update. * Since Current project Phase I is in the development phase the immediate responsibility will be to coordinate with business users, and help in the development of all web content, develop a new Power Apps/ Power Apps and facilitate the migration and launch process. * Develop and execute a communication plan. Required Skills & Experience: * Minimum 7 years or more of progressively expanding work experience in the administration/ development and support of SharePoint. * 4+ years of experience in migrating On-premises SharePoint to SharePoint online with help of Power platform and customizations with low code or no code platforms. * 4+ years of experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model. * Minimum 4 years or more of experience working with SharePoint & Power Apps (Power Automate, Flows, Power Pages, Data-verse etc.) or similar low code development tools. * Extensive experience in customizing SharePoint lists and integrating disparate systems with PowerApps. * 4+ years of experience in design and development as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a track record of successful Power BI project. In-depth knowledge of Power BI features, data modeling, DAX language, and Power Query, Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard design best practices. * Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, SSRS and data integration, Experience with data governance, data security, and compliance regulations, Manage data extraction, manipulation, transformation and aggregation; evaluate user requests for new or modified programs and development of related business models. * Experience with data security and access control in SharePoint * Familiarity with cloud-based systems, programming languages, best practices, etc. * Experience with automation of tasks using Power Automate * The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally, and in writing. * Strong experience of the SharePoint UI, ability to update the SharePoint web content using latest technologies. Preferred Skills: * Strong Skill to collect business requirements for SharePoint custom Power applications and develop detailed requirement documents. * Strong ability to understand the business process and develop the technical requirements/ specifications for the use of application architecture and programmer to develop SharePoint technical solutions. * Must have strong skill/ experience coordinating and facilitating application demo sessions, obtain feedback and get the necessary enhancements implemented. * The candidate must be able to schedule and conduct training sessions. * Working experience of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and earlier version Administration and user support. * Working knowledge of Microsoft InfoPath and Nintex workflow software to understand and redevelop them in Power Auto and Power App platform. * Working experience with Custom HTML and CSS, defining HTML and CSS structure, utilizing external, internal, and inline styles, implementing HTML5 and CSS3 standards in SharePoint. * The candidate must have experience on systems/ SharePoint development projects. * Should have experience with Visio, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Power Point.
