About the position The Missions Coordinator will plan, execute, and oversee mission partnershipswith both local and foreign ministry partners. This includes building a Mission Team to evaluate current partnerships, exploring new opportunities, and overseeing community outreach events for The Foundry. The Missions Coordinator will work closely with the pastors to expand outreach opportunities to serve and strengthen the churchs mission endeavors. About Belonging Believing Becoming ? Qualifications: Ability to work well with all levels of staff, volunteers, church members, nonprofits, etc. Exceptional organizational and administrative skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Expertise in multi-tasking, setting priorities and time management. Demonstrated ability to recruit and equip teams. Agree to The Foundrys Statement of Faith, be in alignment with vision and mission, and be willing to become a member of The Foundry Methodist Church. Education and Experience: High School diploma required. Minimum 1-year previous experience with local or global missions. Bachelors degree preferred. Bilingual preferred. Responsibilities: Coordinate programs with input from a variety of ministry teams and volunteers. Develop successful hands-on mission and community service programs. Plan regular and focused mission trips to disciple Foundry members as the serve on the mission field. Sustain existing partnerships and develop new partnerships with local nonprofits to provide opportunities for hands-on mission work. Recruit and equip volunteers, including a Missions Advisory Team. Oversee all travel aspects of any mission trip (transportation, lodging, food, required documents, etc.). Research, locate, and validate mission opportunities and needs within the local community as well as foreign mission locations. Oversee all aspects of community outreach events (vendors, activities, food, required documents, etc.). Help cultivate a mission-mindset within the congregation. Other responsibilities as required to fulfill the mission. Compensation: The Foundry offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with education and work experience. Particulars of compensation will be worked out with the successful candidate upon satisfactory completion of financial and criminal background checks.
