This is a Youth and Associate Position at Bethel, so responsibilities are split. Youth:1. Plan and run Wednesday night youth ministry each week. Write and deliver messages, coordinate with worship teams, plan snacks and games with your youth leader team.2. Coordinate ministry with the Bethel young adults group and the leaders of that group.3. Meet outside of Wednesdays with teenagers, plan outings and events, disciple teenagers.4. Help plan youth camps and be on site for the two weeks of teen camp. Plan local or foreign mission trips with input from youth leaders, parents, and senior pastor. Associate: 1. Work alongside and assist the Lead Pastor and Elders in vision, strategy and leading the church as the Holy Spirit guides.2. Work alongside and assist the Lead Pastor with some general pastoral duties such as hospital and nursing home visitation, weddings, funerals, and baptisms.3. Provide pulpit ministry for the general congregation in the Lead Pastors absence.4. Serve as an Elder alongside the Lead Pastor and the Elders with general elder duties such as spiritual leadership and guidance of the church, prayer, body care, teaching, leadership and membership training.
