Career Description: Pastor/Director of the Children's Ministry Leader with the commitment and passion to guide the Children's Ministry with love and dedication. Her deep love for children and her unwavering faith in God led her to play a vital role in the spiritual formation and care of the youngest in the community. ESSENTIAL OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Program Planning and Coordination: Responsible for planning and coordinating all children's ministry programs and activities, including Bible teaching classes, special events, retreats and camps. Teaching and Discipleship: Provides biblical teachings in a creative and relevant way, ensuring that children understand the principles of the Christian faith and how to apply them in their daily lives. Additionally, she oversees the spiritual and emotional development of children through individual and group discipleship. Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, train and lead a team of committed volunteers who assist in various areas of children's ministry, such as teaching, administration, music and event logistics. She fosters an environment of collaboration and personal growth among team members. Relationship with Parents: Establishes and maintains open and effective communication with the parents of the children participating in the ministry. Provides support, guidance and resources to help parents strengthen their children's faith at home. Pastoral Care: Provides pastoral care to children and their families, providing emotional support, prayer and counseling when necessary. She ensures that each child feels loved, valued, and safe in the ministry environment. Administration and Finance: Manages the administration and finances of the children's ministry, ensuring that resources are used effectively and responsibly. This includes budget management, event planning, and oversight of facilities used by the ministry. Vision and Strategy Development: In collaboration with church leadership, the long-term vision of the children's ministry is developed and articulated, as well as strategies to achieve established goals. She is constantly looking for ways to improve and expand the reach and effectiveness of the ministry. He carries out these responsibilities with grace, wisdom, and a deep passion for seeing children grow in their relationship with God and become committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Requirements: Bilingual - Spanish and English (Spanish church ministry where 70% of volunteers are spanish only)
