Description:
Medstaff is assisting with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage for a client located in Urbana, IL. * Requires National Certification as well as certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, IL RN and NP license, BLS, NRP and at least 1 year of experience * Coverage varies: 8am-6pm, 5pm-8am and 8am-8am, weekdays with weekends and holidays as needed, no call * Average 8-10 patients on each NNP team, overnight covers both NNP teams, cover deliveries and transition nursery * Procedures include: Intubation, UAC/UVC, PICC placement, lumbar puncture, PAL, needle aspiration/chest tube, arterial sticks, delivery attendance * Level III Perinatal NICU, 48 beds with stepdown unit, mix of private and Medicaid * EMR is EPIC * Requires Proof of COVID Vaccine and a clean background * Credentialing will take about 60-90 days, looking for a 3-6 month commitment, could be ongoing For more information, please contact Laurie Vibberts at 919-342-XXXX
