Responsibilities Responsible for promoting quality nursing care, that is based on current scientific knowledge, functions as an expert practitioner, educator, researcher, consultant, and change agent. - Collaborates with others to ensure effective and efficient discharge planning on select patients. - Collaborates as needed with Department Director in support of achievement of overall department goals. Qualifications Required Qualifications Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units Minimum of 3 years as a RN with Emergency Department Experience Proficiency in both verbal and written communication Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in education, teaching or professional development Master's degree in nursing, leadership, or education Benefits & Perks Competitive Pay & Benefits Options Paid Vacation, Sick days, and Holidays Free tuition to UofL for Part- and Full-time employees for Child/Spouse/Domestic Partner 401K with Employer Match #LI-DNI
